How does MyKot work?

Step 1: Register

Create an account and fill in all requested information. Be correct and complete.

Step 2: Add your rooms

Create your building and add your lots. Do you have many similar rooms in the same building? Then you can use bulk actions to work faster.

Step 3: Get your building checked

MyKot contacts you to make an appointment for a quality control. That way, you'll be fully compliant with Brussels regulations and you can let via MyKot.

Step 4: Publish

Publish your validated rooms and receive requests from interested students. You can put your rooms back on hidden at any time.

Step 5: Communicate

Engage with interested tenants and answer their questions. Is there a match with a student? Then move to the next step.

Step 6: Generate your contract

Create a rental contract via the contract generator. Tenant details will be filled in automatically.

Step 7: Sign your contract

Meet with the tenant and both sign the contract. Make sure you also keep a copy of the signed contract.

Step 8: Done!

Congratulations, your kot has been let! Make proper arrangements with the tenant about the start of the tenancy and handing over of the key.
